Cyclic Injection Processes

Due to the nature of reservoir fracturing, it is necessary to employ a cyclic process. This has the advantage of limiting inordinate height growth and allows a time frame to adequately track changes to baseline characteristics.
The cyclic "period" must be optimized for a given set of reservoir parameters.
Cross-well and cross-reservoir interference tests based on the cyclic "period" can determine reservoir storativity and boundary conditions.
High solids content of the waste stream causes abnormal wear on moving parts that necessitate cyclic periods to handle downtime and process corrections.


Hydrocarbon Production Enhancement:
